Little Seedlings Community Garden, Southport

Little Seedlings Club Dobbies Southport Donation

A little alpine assistance for the Little Seedlings Garden

The Little Seedlings Club has more than 15,000 annual attendees and meets on the first Sunday of every month in every Dobbies Garden Centre throughout the UK.

The Little Seedlings Community Garden at Dobbies Southport has been set up as a space for children to learn about the environment and to encourage them to grown their own fruit and vegetables.  Five volunteers and other colleagues at Dobbies Southport have been involved in the bringing the garden to life with local mini-gardening-enthusiasts, supporting, donating time and helping source items.  Zoe Stanmore, Community Champion at the store, asked the Lovania team if they could provide some plants, particularly for a pallet wall they were planning.  And we were happy to oblige in support of such a worthy cause within the local community.

Perfect!

Hoping to also gain recognition and further promotion and support, Zoe plans to develop the garden further and perhaps even achieve success in the RHS It’s Your Neighbourhood Awards this year.  If you would like to find out more about the garden and the Club’s activities, visit their website or their Facebook page at Little Seedlings Community Garden.
